課程概述 |
This course will cover some advanced topics in modern condensed matter physics. In particular, we will discuss the strongly correlated systems and interplay between topology and physics. |
|
課程目標 |
The purpose of this course is to provide the students overview and research basis for modern quantum manybody physics.
The subjects will be discuss in class include:
1. One dimensional quantum anti-ferromagnets
2. Luttinger liquid
3. Topological Insulators
4. Symmetry protected topological order
5. Quantum Hall Effects
6. Spin Liquids
7. Quantum Entanglement and quantum phases
8. Tensor Network |

課程要求 |
Prerequisite: Quantum Mechanics I, II; Quantum Field Theory; Solid State Physics I.
The students are required to participate in the in-class discussion, and give a final presentation and paper. |
